Oakland’s Pop-Up Hood: McMullen

Perfect sweater for fall in a deep rich purple by new up and coming label Townsen

McMullen Boutique in Old Oakland’s Pop-up hood  is owned by Sherri McMullen, who after browsing the shop, you can clearly tell she has a sharp eye for fashion and trends. The shop is chic and modern with a relaxed vibe.  Her shop is a refreshing addition, not only to Old Oakland, but also to the neighboring cities of Berkeley and Emeryville where a girl has limited options in terms of shopping for some fashion forward items, apart from the typical mass chain retailers.

Uber stylish, boutique owner, Sherri Mc Mullen

You can find carefully selected pieces from favorites like Rag and Bone, 3.1 Philip Lim, Equipment, 10 Crosby Lam along with harder to find labels like Rhie and one of my new favorite accessories line Iosselliani, without having to jet over to San Francisco. Looking forward to supporting this local boutique and excited to get introduced to some new up and coming labels. Thanks McMullen for bringing style to the East Bay and if you can’t make it to the store, check out their website for shopping and upcoming trunk shows.

Fluently lived,

K.
