Oakland’s Pop Up Hood: Marion and Rose’s Workshop

It’s October, and before we know it, it will be the holiday season – gift giving time. If you are looking for unique presents for your loved ones, or well, simply for yourself, Marion and Rose’s Workshop is just the place to be. Owned by Kerri Lee Johnson, a former gallery owner, her shop is well-curated – from the cute silk-screen printed baby onesies to the one-of-a-kind local designers’ jewelry. I’d say the shop has clean scandinavian minimalist aesthetics but with a twist of Oakland with its crafty accessories, local artists’ art and photography, special & delicate dishware plus some home made pickles!  It’s the perfect place to find quality and memorable gifts  for someone who appreciates the art and craftsmanship  of things.

Enjoy some of the shots of the store. It’s definitely worth the stop if you happen to be in Downtown Oakland.

Fluently lived,
